The Scores

Week 7 is in the books and my recliner is still shaking.

Tampa Bay beat Carolina 43-13. The Bucs ran for 258 yards. The Panthers have the 32nd ranked run defense at 153.2 allowed per game, and they showed why. If you can't stop the run, you can't win. Simple as that.

Dallas topped Philadelphia 38-21 with 204 rushing yards. Los Angeles handled Las Vegas 35-21 and ran for 199 while the Raiders got 48. The Giants beat Houston 27-21 in OT with 188 on the ground. Pittsburgh beat New Orleans 16-10, 148 yards to 18. Cleveland edged Tennessee 27-24 behind 183 yards.

Denver took Arizona 30-16. Seattle smothered Kansas City 20-3 and held the Chiefs to 50 rushing yards. Detroit nipped Green Bay 20-17. Miami got past the Jets 28-25.

The Exceptions

Some teams held the run and still lost. Those are the exceptions, so don't write me angry emails.

Baltimore held Cincinnati to 73 rushing yards and lost 35-13. Atlanta beat San Francisco 29-20 with just 82 rushing yards against 123 for the 49ers. Minnesota stayed unbeaten at 6-0 by beating Indianapolis 16-10, even though the Colts out-rushed them 154 to 136. Weird Sunday. I threw a remote.

Up Next

Thursday, Oct 29, 7:15 PM Central: Panthers at Packers. Carolina brings that 32nd ranked run defense. Green Bay ran for 60 yards against Detroit. Grab your wings and keep them hot.

Cap Space Corner

Week 8 prices are out. Biggest raises: Mason Taylor (TE) up $2.0M to $4.7M, Tony Pollard (RB) up $1.7M to $5.7M, and Omar Cooper Jr. (WR) up $1.5M to $5.5M.

Biggest drops: Nico Collins (WR) down $1.6M to $5.5M, Jalen Coker (WR) down $1.1M to $5.1M, and Kenneth Walker III (RB) down $0.9M to $9.1M.

In Week 7, Team Hizzle led the Hizzle players with 138.46 points. Mrs. Hizzleman!!'s team was close behind at 138.14, and Tigam's team had 121.96.

My lineup, Buck's Buffet, put up 141.16. No Hizzle player beat it. Sauce on my jersey, trophy in my heart.
