Bears Outlast Pats, and Buck's Recliner Is Ready for Sunday

Bears 30, Patriots 24. Chicago moves to 5-2. New England drops to 4-3.

Thirty points allowed. Buck noticed. Buck always notices. You hand a team 30 and you're asking the offense to bail out the defense every single week. That's a tough way to live, folks.

If you can't stop the run, you can't win.

Sunday Slate

Set the alarm. The Steelers (4-2) visit the Saints (2-4) at Stade de France at 8:30 AM Central. That's wings for breakfast. Buck is not complaining.

Then noon hits and the recliner goes into full battle mode:

• 49ers (6-0) at Falcons (2-4), Mercedes-Benz Stadium
• Bengals (3-2) at Ravens (4-2), M&T Bank Stadium
• Buccaneers (1-5) at Panthers (3-2), Bank of America Stadium
• Giants (3-2-1) at Texans (2-4), Reliant Stadium
• Colts (2-4) at Vikings (5-0), U.S. Bank Stadium
• Dolphins (0-5) at Jets (2-4), MetLife Stadium
• Browns (4-2) at Titans (1-5), Nissan Stadium

The afternoon has Broncos (4-2) at Cardinals (2-4) at 3:05 PM Central. Then at 3:25 PM Central it's Packers (4-2) at Lions (3-2) and Rams (2-4) at Raiders (3-3).

That's a lot of football. Buck has a lot of remotes. Fewer remotes by dinner, probably.

Keep an eye on the unbeaten teams. San Francisco is 6-0 and Minnesota is 5-0. Miami is 0-5 and still looking for its first. Everybody's got something to prove, and Buck will be watching who tackles.
