Raiders vs. Jets Game Thread: Week 8, 2026

Taking the Jets, and I'm doing it from my recliner with a wing in each hand. The Raiders have lost four straight and gave up 45 at New England, 33 to Buffalo, and 35 to the Chargers. That's three straight weeks of defense that looks like a screen door. Jets QB rating sits at 105.2 to Vegas at 97.4, so New York at least has the passing edge, and if you can't stop the run, you can't win. Raiders, find some tackling by noon Central or I'm throwing a remote.

I picked the Jets and I was wrong, and I'm chewing on that like a cold wing. Jets ran for 166 yards and held the Raiders to 95 on the ground, and they still lost 38-33, so this is the exception to "If you can't stop the run, you can't win." Raiders get the W at 4-4, Jets slide to 2-6 with three straight losses, and my recliner has never felt so disrespected.
