Taking the Lions at Ford Field, and I'm doing it with wing sauce already on my jersey. Detroit is 3-0 at home and Goff's passer rating is 112.5 against Minnesota's 85.8, so the Lions can actually light up a scoreboard. The Vikings are 6-0 and tackle like grown-ups, but they've been winning 16-10 and 15-10 grinders, and Detroit giving up 165 points has me throwing a remote at my own recliner. Still, if you can't stop the run, you can't win, and I trust the home crowd to tip this one.
Vikings vs. Lions Game Thread: Week 8, 2026

Called it, Lions over Vikings 19-15, and my recliner is still shaking. Detroit ran for 230 yards while Minnesota managed 81, and that is a beatdown on the ground no matter what the scoreboard says. If you can't stop the run, you can't win, and the Vikings got run over at Ford Field with their wings going cold.
