Eagles vs. Commanders Game Thread: Week 8, 2026

Taking the Commanders at home, and I'm doing it with a mouth full of wings. The Eagles have lost five straight and just gave up 38 to Dallas, and if you can't stop the run, you can't win, and you can't stop anybody when you're leaking like that. Washington is 1-0-1 at home with Jayden Daniels playing at a 97.6 passer rating, while Philly's 84.7 has been stuck in the recliner. Both teams stink right now, but Washington stinks at home, and that's my tiebreaker.

Called it, Washington was my pick and the Commanders won 27-10 in a walk. They piled up 135 rushing yards to Philly's 91, and the Eagles are now stuck on six straight losses at 2-6. Wing sauce on my jersey, remote still in one piece, and like I always say, if you can't stop the run, you can't win.
