Aniimo how to Twine: use the Twine action after the tutorial unlocks it to take direct control of your selected Aniimo. Command leaves your Pathfinder outside the creature, issuing directions while the Aniimo acts through its AI.

Mode Your practical job
Command Direct the companion while controlling your Pathfinder.
Twine Move and use the selected creature's own abilities directly.

That difference matters outside fights too. If a route needs a creature's movement ability, merely putting it in the party is not the same as controlling it. Follow the tutorial prompt for Twine, then read the skill shown for that creature and context.

Learn it without memorizing the wrong button

  1. Complete the opening control lesson in Aniimo beginner guide: how to start.
  2. Select the creature you intend to use.
  3. Follow your current Twine prompt. Keyboard, controller and rebound controls should follow the client, not a button copied from another platform.
  4. Check the active skills after switching. Direct control applies to the selected creature, not the whole party simultaneously.
  5. Return to the other mode and notice which actions change.

Hizzle suggests learning the switch in an uncomplicated situation before a difficult fight. This is a practice suggestion, not a claim that we played it. Aniimo best early team: build around your starter explains why a useful teammate can fill a support job even when it is not your main attacker.
