Welcome to Hizzle: Free NFL Pick'em vs. the Sim Is Coming

Hizzle is up and running. Day one.

This is the first post on the site, so here's the deal: what Hizzle is, what works right now, and what's coming next.

What is Hizzle?

One account. One score. Every game on the site.

Every game here feeds your Hizzle Score. Win a pick, beat a challenge, earn a trophy. It all counts toward one number, and that number puts you on the leaderboard.

Football is first. Idle games are next. More after that.

Why I built it

I ran MaddenBoard.com back in the day. A vBulletin sports forum with its own sim league, player trades, and live Madden CPU games. Building it was half the fun. Running it was the other half.

I played Goal Line Blitz too. Pay-to-win boosts walled out new players, and the place thinned out.

So here's the rule on Hizzle: no pay-to-win in ranked play. Money doesn't buy you a better spot on a leaderboard. You earn it.

What works today

• Hizzle accounts. One sign-up covers every section of the site.
• Profiles. Your username, avatar, Hizzle Score, and season rank in one place.
• Hizzle Score. Every point is tracked. The same play can't pay out twice, so nobody games it.
• Seasons and leaderboards. Every quarter is a season. Final standings get saved forever. 2026 Q4 is live now.
• Hizzle News. You're reading it.

Next up: Beat the Sim, a free NFL pick'em

The first game is Beat the Sim. Free NFL pick'em.

You pick the winner of every NFL game. So does the Sim, a computer model that rates every team off real game results. Each week you find out who knows football better. You or the machine.

• Free to play.
• Pick every game. Picks lock at kickoff.
• Weekly and season leaderboards.
• The big board: everybody vs. the Sim.
• Every game gets a preview page with the Sim's prediction and win probability.

The goal is picks open for NFL Week 9.

After that: idle game tools

Next section is idle games. Calculators, guides, and weekly challenges for idle and incremental games. Built by a guy who actually plays them.

Site updates, every update

Every time the site changes, I'll post it here. What's new, what got fixed, what's next.

The version number at the bottom of every page shows exactly what's running. Today that's v0.03.01.000.
