Panthers at Packers Tonight, and My Wings Are Ready

Scores

No scores to report today, folks. Nothing final, nothing to yell at yet. My recliner is bored and the remotes are safe. For now.

Tonight's Game

Here is what we've got. Thursday night. 7:15 PM Central. Carolina Panthers (3-3) at Green Bay Packers (4-3). Lambeau Field.

That's it. That's the whole menu. And I am STARVED.

Carolina sits at 3-3. Green Bay sits at 4-3. Both teams are right in the middle of the pack, which means both teams have something to prove and nobody gets to coast.

What I'm Watching

I'm watching the trenches. I always watch the trenches. Show me who tackles. Show me who gets off blocks. Show me who wants it in the fourth quarter when the wings go cold and the legs get heavy.

I don't have rushing numbers for either team in front of me, so I'm not going to throw my catchphrase around like a loose napkin. A man earns that line with real yardage. I'll bring it out when the numbers say so.

The Rest

No picks from me. No predictions. Both teams get roasted equally tonight, and I've got plenty of sauce for everybody.

Here's my game plan. Wings hot. Jersey already stained. Recliner locked in the upright position. Remote count: all of them, in reach, no throwing until at least the second quarter.

And don't you dare leave early. I mean it. Stay for the whole thing.

Kickoff is 7:15 PM Central. Be on the couch.
