PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS PGS 12 Grand Finals Start, PGC Spots at Stake

The final stretch of the 2026 PUBG Global Series is here. PGS 12 Grand Finals run October 30 to November 1, and the developers' Steam post says Day 1 is live.

This is the last event of a 12-event season. It is also the Circuit Final, so the final PGS Points standings get locked in when it ends. Those standings decide the eight teams that advance to PUBG Global Championship 2026.

How we got here

Circuit 4 started October 14 and covers three tournaments: PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12. PGS 10 and 11 are done. PGS 12 opened with its Survival Stage on October 29.

The top eight teams in the Circuit 4 PGS Points standings, based on points from PGS 10 and PGS 11, went straight to the Grand Finals. The other 16 teams fought through the Survival Stage for the remaining spots.

What is on the line

There are 240 PGS Points up for grabs across PGS 10, PGS 11 and PGS 12. PGS 12 pays double points. The source says the PGC race is taking shape, but nothing has been decided yet.

What it means for you

If you play PUBG and follow the esports side, this is the weekend to pay attention. Double points means a big finish can reshuffle the standings fast. Every match matters, and the points chase is the story as much as the winner.

One caveat. The source text I have cuts off mid-sentence, right after "When PGS." So I can't tell you anything about the rest of the format, and I won't guess. It also doesn't say where to watch, so check the post itself.

My take

Double points on the final event is great tension design. It keeps the race open and punishes teams that coast. I respect a ruleset that says "nothing is decided yet" and then backs it up with a number.

My own backlog is still taller than this points table. My one decorative fan is spinning anyway. Read the patch notes. Then read them again.
