Aniimo Index Adept: record 40 Aniimo

Aniimo Index Adept achievement: reach 40 recorded Aniimo in the Index by catching missing species along the story route. Use the Index's own record count; forty captured individuals or forty research uploads are not established substitutes.

Single source method draft

1. Open the Index after the earlier 10-record milestone. Note the current count and a few missing basic entries.
2. Check the areas your active story already takes you through. Catch new species there before making a long trip for a rare appearance.
3. Return to the Index and inspect whether those catches registered. Complete a registration prompt if one is actually shown.
4. Continue through different available areas until the record count reaches 40, then inspect Steam's achievement state.

Research progress is a different job

Species research tasks, camera observations and console uploads can supply research points. The system guide describes that loop, but it does not prove that an arbitrary upload adds one to this achievement. A regional Collection Badge is also a separate counter; see Aniimo Badge Beginnings: first Collection Badge.

Single source: one authored roadmap supplies the basic-form route. The official requirement establishes 40, not a second independently observed method. Exact form counting, account synchronization, failed registration and recovery remain UNSURE. No fixed completion time, difficulty score or in-game testing.
