GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is the announced date checked on November 2, not a guarantee against another schedule change.
Can I play on PS4 or Xbox One?
PlayStation explicitly says the game is not playable on PS4. The announced Xbox platforms are Series X|S; Xbox One is not listed among the launch platforms checked here.
What about PC?
UNSURE: a PC release date, Steam release and official PC system requirements. The first-party launch material checked for this guide names the current PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It does not establish a PC launch.
A console announcement cannot tell you which graphics card to buy for a future PC version. Wait for official requirements before treating a speculative hardware list as a shopping list.
What time does the game unlock?
UNSURE: a verified launch-hour schedule by region. A release date and a pre-load start time are different facts. We will add local unlock times when a reliable first-party announcement or region-specific store information establishes them.
What to do now
- Check that the store page names your exact console.
- Check the edition and account region.
