The 2026 PUBG Global Series is in its last stretch, and the developers just posted the Circuit 4 breakdown on Steam. Their headline: PGS 12 Survival Stage is LIVE!!
I read the patch notes. Then I read them again. Here is what is in there.
What changed
PGS Circuit 4 is the final circuit of the 12-event series. It covers PGS 10, PGS 11 and the Circuit Final, PGS 12, and runs October 14 to November 1.
PGS 12 is where the season's final PGS Points standings get settled. Those standings decide the eight teams that advance to PUBG Global Championship 2026.
The math is spicy. There are still 240 PGS Points up for grabs across the three events, and PGS 12 pays double points.
How PGS 12 works
The top eight teams in the Circuit 4 standings, based on points from PGS 10 and PGS 11, go straight to the Grand Finals. The other 16 teams fight through the Survival Stage for the remaining spots.
The schedule lists the Survival Stage on October 29 and the Grand Finals on October 30 to November 1. Today is November 1, so by that schedule you are looking at the final day of the whole series. The post is dated October 28, and the headline says the Survival Stage is live, so the dates and the headline do not line up perfectly. I am flagging it, not fixing it.
One more caveat. The source text I have cuts off mid-sentence after "When PGS," so I cannot tell you how many Grand Finals spots the Survival Stage hands out. I also have nothing on prizes, formats beyond the stage names, or where to watch. Check the original post.
What it means for you
If you play PUBG, this is the best time to watch how the pros handle the endgame. Double points means one big lobby can flip a season.
My take
Double points at the Circuit Final is the kind of rule I respect. It keeps teams that stumbled earlier alive, and it punishes anyone who coasts. Eight teams get a PGC 2026 ticket and nobody has been told they are safe.
My backlog can wait. My one decorative fan is spinning for this.
