ARC Raiders how to take a photo: use an in-game camera for camera pictures and the platform's capture tool for an ordinary screenshot. A screenshot of an objective does not by itself prove that its quest step completed.

Check which task you are doing

• Personal in-game photo: equip the camera gadget, follow its current input prompts and check the Codex location described by its tooltip.
• Quest photograph: accept and track the relevant quest, read the target and watch for actual objective progress. Do not assume an older interact-only quest behaves like a camera task.
• Screenshot: use your configured platform capture command. That saves a picture outside the quest system.

Frozen Trail added Basic and Advanced Cameras. The published camera reference places the gadget in a quick-use slot. Hizzle recommends finding cover before framing a picture; an online raid is still happening around you.

Why did my photograph not count?

First check the target and active objective. Then inspect ARC Raiders patch notes: what changes this guide: 2.3 still lists “Photograph Port A” in “When Everything Falls” as a possible completion problem. Its new camera filters and clearer selfies are not a claim that this quest bug was fixed.

UNSURE: a guaranteed workaround for that objective and every controller binding. Follow your current on-screen prompt rather than a key copied from another platform.
