Phantom Blade Zero Soul Tempering: how it works

Phantom Blade Zero Soul Tempering uses Myst, a matching material and a reported 5,000 Dust fee. Separate it from levels, resets and trophy counts.

Phantom Blade Zero Soul Tempering adds an item-specific effect through Myst in Pangzhen, using the matching material and a reported 5,000 Remnant Dust fee. It is a separate system from normal level upgrades and Reforge resets. The flat fee and material mappings below remain Single source where noted; compare the current menu before confirming.

  1. Meet Myst in the Order's underground tavern in Pangzhen and open her equipment service.
  2. Switch to Soul Tempering using your current interface prompt. Do not copy a PC key into a PS5 instruction.
  3. Select the weapon or Phantom Edge and read the required material. A material belongs to the named item, not every item in that class.
  4. Check Owned versus Cost. A fragment is not necessarily a complete material: some items assemble only after all their pieces are collected.
  5. Confirm the temper, then record the item on the correct trophy checklist.

Keep three different actions separate

Action Goal
Normal upgrades Increase an item's level toward the two level 30 trophies.
Reforge/Revert Recover upgrade investment, subject to the current reset prompt.
Soul Temper Apply the item's special tempering upgrade once.

The PS5 roadmap counts ten different main weapons for Phantom Blade Zero A Tempered Ten trophy and ten different Phantom Edges for Phantom Blade Zero Phantom Arsenal trophy. Ten levels on one weapon do not satisfy either ten-item goal.

At the reported flat fee, ten tempers would cost 50,000 Dust, or twenty would cost 100,000. That is conditional arithmetic for service fees only. It excludes buying materials, acquiring equipment and normal upgrades; it is not a cheapest-completion budget.

Some tempers rename an item, such as Sanguine becoming Infernal Rouge. Record the original item and its result together rather than treating the renamed version as an independently acquired extra weapon. We have not established a reset exploit for repeating the same temper.
