Phantom Blade Zero how to upgrade medicine: reach Green Serpent House in west Pangzhen after defeating Xie Qiudong, the Divine Healer, then speak to the Apprentice Healer. Finding Healer's Memories earlier does not by itself unlock the service.

Unlock the upgrade service

1. Continue into the western part of Pangzhen during its second chapter.
2. Defeat Xie Qiudong and continue down the street.
3. Look for the house with green banners and the Green Serpent House Bell.
4. Speak to the Apprentice Healer inside. Output Lag names her Xie Xiaorong; PC Gamer identifies the service by her title.
5. Inspect the medicine upgrade option and the material/currency preview before confirming.

PC Gamer reports that this first visit also gives Green Serpent Brew, a medicine that removes status effects. Output Lag says the upgrade option is then available at any Bell. That all-Bell detail is Single source in this audit, so check the current menu rather than assuming the healer must personally handle every later upgrade.
