Phantom Blade Zero A Thousand Cups Drained trophy requires defeating Hua Qianxiao, the Sword Fanatic, at Pangzhen Bridge Overlook in Crimson Forest. Interrupt his exposed drinking channel with Dread Axe and save aggression for the resulting opening. Single source trophy method: the combat plan has named authored cross-checks, but complete independent platform-unlock verification is not established.

Bring equipment you can already own

The authored opening selection is Jagged Steel, Sanguine Twin, Dread Axe and Hunter's Chain Sickle. early build explains those roles. Upgrade the equipment you use through the Bell service, without assuming a fixed level is mandatory for the trophy.

Outlaw Warblade drops from Jing Ye farther into Crimson Forest, so you cannot rely on it for this first visit. This fight's reward is Fanatic's Broken Blade. The optional Hua the Bride encounter and Scarlet Wraithblade trophy are separate.

Read his drinking state

1. Watch for the opening drinking channel. Both authored guides recommend a Dread Axe interruption before it finishes.
2. After the interruption, exploit the guard-break opening with your main weapon. Do not waste the opening by continuing to spam the Edge after it has done its job.
3. Conserve charges for later exposed drinks. AuraAmile reports that a short activation is sufficient; that is an authored method, not our measured resource test.
4. If he surrounds himself with floating swords before drinking, the Hellwalker account says direct interruption no longer works. Defend the empowered sequence rather than assuming the opening trick always repeats.
5. Expect grab pressure near the end of some strings. The reported drink-grab can replenish his Sha-Chi and prolong his empowered state even without directly damaging Soul. Dodge the grab and wait for a readable recovery before committing again.

Empowered does not mean the fight has restarted

AuraAmile describes one phase with normal and empowered states. The empowered state adds faster strings and makes the same retaliation less reliable. Keep enough Sha-Chi to survive the transition and switch main weapons when available to replenish it.

UNSURE: red-parry/reflection wording and exact difficulty-specific behavior still need reconciliation. This page does not promise that reflecting a projectile always damages him, or that one named build is the fastest on every setting.

The November 4 official note reducing Hua, Deadly Betrothed grabs applies to the Bride on Wayfarer and Pathbreaker. It does not establish a Sword Fanatic drinking/grab nerf merely because both names contain Hua.
