Rust blueprint fragments still appear as Basic and Advanced items in the live-reference pages checked on November 5 morning. The proposed November progression rework is preview information, not a confirmed live rule in this guide.
Identify which instructions you are reading
The checked developer Workbench Level 2 page lists Basic fragments in its crafting recipe. Current specialist previews instead describe fragments, pages and books being used for tech-tree unlocks. Those descriptions concern different states of the game; do not combine them into one shopping list.
Before spending resources, inspect your own live crafting menu and server notice. Check the dated official update, then compare the specific recipe or unlock you want. “Build a workbench,” “research a found item” and “unlock a tech-tree node” are separate actions.
For a concrete first puzzle, use Rust green keycard: where to find your first card and Rust Harbor puzzle: green card to blue card before planning a higher-tier run.
What we have not confirmed
The November update was absent from the latest official website changelist and 12 publisher Steam news headers at the morning check. Preview drop percentages, converted-item rules, new workbench prices and exact launch timing remain UNSURE until a live primary release confirms them.
Hizzle will update this page and Rust patch notes: live checks and November preview when that evidence appears. No current live odds or fastest farming route is inferred from Reddit speculation.

UNSURE marks what this guide hasn't established. Hizzle Guides research from public sources; we don't claim in-game testing unless a page says so.
