Rust PC vs Console Edition: use the right guide

Rust PC vs Console Edition: use instructions for the edition and patch you actually own. This guide starts with Steam PC; it does not assume identical console recipes, achievements or controls.

The checked console position

Double Eleven's October 27 blog publishes Console Edition 1.17, scheduled October 29, with overground trains and other additions. Its November 4 notice moves Excavator's main-branch release to early 2027, with a planned Public Test Branch appearance in December. Those plans are not current live access.

The same console patch lists an ocean-fishing limitation relevant to completion guides. It also describes a temporary official-server blueprint arrangement for October's wipe. Read that dated scope rather than inferring a permanent rule or applying it to every community server.

Trophy coverage is unfinished

Steam's current schema supplies the 116-entry checklist in Rust achievements: Steam list and method status. Full official Xbox and PlayStation lists, generations/regions, points/grades and method parity remain UNSURE. We have not invented a PS5 Platinum route or copied PC trigger requirements into an official console list.

Hizzle has not tested any edition in-game. Console lists and achievement methods remain part of the same active guide's unfinished core.
