Rust patch notes: live checks and November preview

Rust patch notes: Halloween 2026, dated October 22, is the latest PC release header observed at our November 5 morning check. The proposed November blueprint rework is not marked live here.

What was checked

The official website news/changelist and latest 12 Steam publisher news entries were checked. The complete Halloween announcement and October changelist section were reviewed. October adds livestock and eleven achievements, while later pages may lag the actual running client; a website timestamp is not proof of every server's version.

Which pages need another check

When the November release appears, recheck Rust blueprint fragments: live or November preview?, Rust Workbench 2 cost: check the current recipe, Rust how to get scrap: plan a useful recycling trip and Rust how to tame a cow: a cautious first route against the actual live notes. Preview numbers remain provisional until then. Update the affected pages and this record with the real substantive date.

Console Edition uses its own 1.17 notes and November 4 development notice in Rust PC vs Console Edition: use the right guide. A future Excavator plan is not PC patch evidence, and a console fishing issue does not prove a PC trophy failure.

UNSURE: exact November release status after this check, every intervening hotfix and how each historical achievement report behaves on the current server. No blanket “all achievements fixed” claim follows from reading patch notes.
