Rust Collect Wood achievement: gather 100 wood

Rust Collect Wood achievement: gather 100 wood from trees using a harvesting tool. Single source: the researched method is from one published route; Steam's matching requirement is not independent method verification.

The action to perform

Use a harvesting tool on a tree and inspect your actual wood gain. The source describes the marked target as a way to improve gathering efficiency. Keep this distinct from merely moving someone else's stack into inventory; alternate credit paths are not established here.

Hizzle recommends checking the result after the intended action before committing to a larger counter goal. Server settings may affect early tasks, so do not assume an unregistered result proves you harvested the wrong tree.

Planning and limits

Provisional difficulty 2/10 is Hizzle's editorial estimate from the setup. Exact completion time, every server/missable/co-op exception and console parity remain UNSURE. No paid DLC requirement is established for this basic action. Current Halloween/October patch material was reviewed, but Hizzle has not tested the unlock in-game.
