Rust Place Camp Fire achievement: deploy a campfire in a valid location. Single source: the published crafting/placement route is one method origin; current server exceptions remain unresolved.

Place it deliberately

Have the campfire item ready, select it and use the game's valid placement preview to deploy it. Inspect the actual placed object before checking the platform result. A completed craft and a completed placement are separate actions.

The developer item description identifies warmth, light and cooking as uses, but those uses are not extra requirements in Steam's placement text. Hizzle recommends recording the action and server details if it fails, without promising that lighting it or repeatedly replacing it fixes a current bug.

Planning and limits

Provisional difficulty 2/10 is Hizzle's editorial estimate from the setup. Exact completion time, every server/missable/co-op exception and console parity remain UNSURE. No paid DLC requirement is established for this basic action. Current Halloween/October patch material was reviewed, but Hizzle has not tested the unlock in-game.
