Rust Workbench 2 cost: check the current recipe

Rust Workbench 2 cost: the checked developer wiki lists 500 Metal Fragments, 20 High Quality Metal and five Basic Blueprint Fragments, crafted using Workbench Level 1. This is the morning live-reference snapshot, not a November preview recipe.

Avoid the wrong resource run

Open the actual recipe on your current server first. Compare the item names as well as the numbers. Metal ore is not the same inventory item as Metal Fragments, and Basic Blueprint Fragments are not a generic name for every proposed blueprint currency.

Hizzle recommends recording only what you are missing. For example, if your displayed recipe needs 500 Metal Fragments and you hold 180, the remaining amount is 320, simple subtraction rather than a game income forecast.

When another guide says scrap

The current November previews describe changed workbench crafting and unlock costs. We have not established that those rules are live at this check. If your live menu differs, preserve the version/server details and use its current recipe while comparing the official update. Do not spend for two incompatible recipes or assume a Console Edition guide supplies PC prices.
