WARDOGS how to build FOB: transport the Forward Operating Base, deploy it from your carried equipment, then construct permitted structures inside its area using the right hammer and available supplies. Give the base a purpose before committing its purchase and delivery costs.

Deploy a base the squad can use

  1. Agree the location and task: support an approach, provide a supply position or enable useful defenses. Check nearby threats and the route for future deliveries.
  2. Inspect the FOB at the vendor. The official launch record sets its purchase price to $7,500; no later change to that row was found in the reviewed Season 2 notes. Check the current price before buying.
  3. Carry or stow it for transport. At the destination, transfer it back to your character if it is in vehicle storage.
  4. Put it on the applicable carried/hotbar slot and use its displayed deployment interaction. Confirm the resulting friendly build area.
  5. Equip a suitable hammer and check the live blueprint preview: tool requirement, placement and construction-supply cost.
  6. Complete the useful essentials, then request the resource the base is actually missing. Keep delivery and exit routes clear.

Budget in the correct units

A vendor price is cash. A blueprint's build cost consumes construction supplies. Season 2 publishes 600 construction supplies for the L81 Mortar; that is not a $600 vendor purchase. It also changes several defenses and hammer speeds, so old cheap-build demonstrations can be misleading.

For heavy construction, WARDOGS how to level Support: build useful things explains the Large Hammer's level, unlock fee and vendor price separately. The source's older level-7 wording is superseded by the official level-8 record.

An FOB without resupply or a useful nearby task can become an expensive detour. WARDOGS how to level Driver: delivery loops covers requested deliveries and WARDOGS how to use mortar: range and supply covers the additional aiming/supply questions. No copied base layout, universal respawn claim or in-game testing.
