CIFI: Academy automation unlock and setup

Look in the Space Academy's Expansions page for the Automation Center. Single source: the Temporal IV repost says its old future Loop Mod unlock was removed; the .64 repost adds a Meltdown visibility check. The exact requirement for your save remains UNSURE.

What the documented automation covers

The Temporal IV notes add exchanges and gear automation. They do not establish a universal automatic campaign route. The older Academy reference distinguishes personnel assignments, mission rewards, material-funded projects and Academy Point gear purchases.

A setup checklist

1. Read the building's current lock text in Expansions.
2. Identify which resource an exchange will spend and which it will produce.
3. Compare gear spending with the next useful set completion.
4. Inspect personnel assignments and the mission you actually want running.
5. After changing settings, check that the intended action is happening and your planned material reserve is intact.

This is Hizzle's resource-planning checklist, not a tested automation preset. An available upgrade is not automatically the best use of the next resource.

Why an old guide can send you to the wrong place

An older Loop Mod reference and a newer building unlock can describe different versions. Check CIFI: version and patch notes rather than buying unrelated upgrades in the hope that the building appears.
