CIFI: Ouroboros and Traversal
Traversal is a deeper reset after Ouroboros. It gives orbs, gems and hunters, and changes how income works.

- Unlock: reach and own CIFI: Ouroboros.
- Traversal is a bigger reset than a Loop Reset. It awards Ouroboros Orbs (OO).
- Meltdown applies an exponent to MK1 output. Pre-Ouro generator ratios stop working as defaults.
- Example: at meltdown 0.1, a 10x pre-meltdown boost gives 10^0.1 = 1.26x. A 10x final Cell boost still gives 10x.
- Track these separately: spendable orbs vs lifetime orbs, expected next-traversal orbs vs the current battery requirement, and Eternal milestone levels vs total shard levels.
- A full battery means you can traverse. It does not mean you should. Compare traversing now against staying for a stronger package.
- Short traversals unlock after the third Exo gem removes the time battery. Higher TR count makes later batteries harder.
- Do not judge an account by TR count or days played.
- Patch 0.7.3.55 changed ranks, install caps, Hegemony and Academy automation. Patch .64 changed hunters. Old tables are outdated.
- See CIFI: Hunters, CIFI: Relics, Mechs and Gadgets and CIFI: Late Game Routes.
A later way to reduce the requirement
CIFI: Traversal energy charges explains the Temporal IV resource that reduces the orb requirement. It is not a reason to assume an early account has that system unlocked.
