Phantom Blade Zero Baishan Tempest guide

Phantom Blade Zero Baishan Tempest requires Lightning Storm with Baishan Stormswords. Activate Wind Sword and Thunder Sword together, then press Block + Heavy Attack during Baishan's Blessing. The weapon's Power Surge is a different move. Single source complete method: authored observations corroborate the state interaction, but independent full unlock evidence remains missing.

Obtain Yubi's swords without closing the tale early

Defeat Yubi, No. 21 Swordfighter Puppet, in the Mandate Encampment Training Grounds for Baishan Stormswords. Finish the required Baishan tale work before that kill. The later Yuding encounter in Mirage Estate rewards a different weapon.

Activate both swords

1. Make Baishan Stormswords active.
2. Land standard attacks to fill the Wind Gauge and activate Wind Sword.
3. Land Sha-Chi attacks to fill the Thunder Gauge and activate Thunder Sword. Manage defensive Sha-Chi while building it.
4. With both effects active, confirm Baishan's Blessing. Its base listed duration is 20 seconds.
5. During that state, press Block + Heavy Attack for Lightning Storm, which ends both sword effects early. Check Steam after the named action.

Hizzle's practice suggestion is to focus on the two gauge states first, then the final input. One gauge being full is not the same as having both sword effects active together. No fixed attack count or speed is established here.

Do not press Power Surge by habit

Baishan Wind-Thunder Slash is the separate Essence-spending Power Surge. It is not the Lightning Storm named in the achievement. The level-5 Thunder-building aid, level-15 parry aid and level-25 longer Blessing are upgrade options; they are not established prerequisites for the base sequence.

The exact hit-versus-activation trigger, counter persistence and current-client timing remain UNSURE. Do not add an invented simultaneous kill, required accessory or guaranteed permanent loop. The attack is the goal; a build recommendation alone is not unlock evidence.

Missability and later recovery remain UNSURE; this is a first-run acquisition route, not a guarantee of unrestricted cleanup.
