Phantom Blade Zero Blotting Out the Sky requires exiting the cave behind the waterfall, not merely beating The Hunt. After his second encounter at Great Waterfall, climb behind the falls and follow the tunnel through. Single source route draft: the official condition is clear, but two independent complete unlock methods are not established.

From the waterfall pool to the cave exit

1. Reach Great Waterfall Bell and complete The Hunt's encounter in the pool. Phantom Blade Zero The Hunt trophy separates this fight from the earlier cart sequence.
2. From the pool, move west toward the waterfall's base. Find the ledge's Scale prompt and climb behind the water.
3. Follow the wooden scaffold west, then turn south onto the plank floor leading into the tunnel.
4. Continue through that tunnel to its far opening. The requirement names the exit, so check Steam after emerging instead of stopping at the entrance.

Books and the boss are separate goals

The nearby Reply to a Request for Aid and The Discordance notes are useful landmarks beyond the tunnel, not additional official achievement conditions. Neither book is stated as a prerequisite here. Likewise, possessing Hunter's Chain Sickle is not the same record as leaving this cave.

If you appear to be in the right region but cannot find this passage, compare the Great Waterfall pool, climbable ledge and scaffold with your route. A different cave, a small cascade or merely approaching the falls does not establish that this named crossing happened.

The precise trigger position, whether it records during the transition or afterward, and recovery for a previously missed unlock remain UNSURE. We do not invent a forced reload, replay requirement or guaranteed repair by crossing backward.
