Phantom Blade Zero The Heart's Journey trophy requires escaping the pursuers on the Main Road in the opening story. The PS5 roadmap describes it as story-related and unmissable during normal progression. Single source method: other trophy listings confirm the requirement, but do not independently document the exact unlock transition.

Follow the opening escape

1. Continue the opening combat tutorials and road-pursuit objective. Follow the actions currently shown on your screen rather than a controller layout copied from an older patch.
2. During the nearby moving-cart sequence, defend against the riders and respond to the attack prompts. The published cart walkthrough recommends guarding ordinary sickle swings, parrying its blue-streak leaps and dodging its red-flash attacks.
3. Attack when an enemy boards the cart and gives you an opening. Stop holding guard between attacks so you can respond offensively rather than spending the entire encounter behind your defense.
4. Continue through the scripted story transition, then inspect your platform's trophy or achievement list. UNSURE: the exact frame or checkpoint that records The Heart's Journey is not independently established here. The cart tips are opening-story help, not proof that its final scene is the trophy trigger.

The cart is not the later Hunt defeat trophy

The early Hunt encounter can end through a scripted scene while his health remains. That does not mean you have failed a requirement to empty that particular bar. The separate The Hunt trophy method concerns his later Great Waterfall encounter and the Hunter's Chain Sickle reward.

This opening trophy is also separate from the true-ending requirements in true-ending guide. There is no collectible checklist in its published requirement. Do not restart a run merely because the later Hunt trophy has not unlocked during the pursuit.

Current PC 1.0302256 was reviewed; exact PS5 parity and platform-specific delayed-unlock recovery remain UNSURE. We have not tested this in-game.
