Phantom Blade Zero Lion's Spirit Lives On trophy requires defeating Flame, the Lion Dance Grandmaster, through both stages in Pangzhen. Reach the hall with its key and dodge out of the fire stream. UNSURE method: published accounts disagree about the complete pole-stage sequence, so this is a preparation route with that gap shown explicitly.

Open the hall first

Will Sawyer's route starts by exhausting the father's dialogue at Yu'er's house, then defeating the Lion Dancer Disciples outside for the Heavy Lion Hall Gate Key. Open the hall, continue to Lion Dance Hall Depths, and activate its Bell. At the arena, interact with the lion-head altar to begin.

Two stages, then a special interaction

The initial costume stage gives way to Final Dance, with Flame carrying the head himself. AllThingsHow reports 88,830 HP, then 98,700 HP; these are Single source numbers, not verified values for every build or setting. Move sideways out of the sustained flame stream rather than holding guard inside it.

When he climbs the poles, the accounts diverge:

Account Reported action
AllThingsHow Clear the Ho-Ho disciples. The last stops near a quarter health and needs the displayed Execute interaction; the account says Flame then returns to the floor.
Will Sawyer, GamesRadar The second stage requires jumping between poles while firing a small cannon at the boss.

UNSURE: these may describe different parts of a longer mechanic, but their exact order and trigger have not been reconciled. Do not keep attacking an apparently capped minion indefinitely or assume that waiting below the poles completes the sequence. Read the interaction prompt and current objective. This page does not prescribe an unverified controller button or a guaranteed skip.

Dormant is not repaired

Sawyer's route awards Dormant Flaming Mane after the fight. Take it to Lei Dang at Jingyang Hall and choose the repair dialogue before using it to clear brambles. The repair visit is separate from defeating Flame; do not confuse it with a later boss encounter.

Hizzle's planning suggestion: note whether each failed attempt ended in the fire stream, a ground combo or the special pole section. Practicing the wrong section will not explain a missing interaction. PS5 Silver, base game, one player, story-related. Hizzle difficulty estimate 5/10; duration UNSURE. PC 1.0302256 reviewed without a specific fix resolving this disagreement. Exact PS5 parity UNSURE; no Hizzle in-game testing.
