Enshrouded how to get water for drinking: obtain a Water Pouch and refill it at a well or lake. Single source recipe: the game-file fan reference lists one Animal Fur for a hand-crafted pouch; compare your current crafting screen before collecting more.
A repeatable supply
Prepare the pouch, use the available water-source interaction and check its resulting state before leaving. Hizzle suggests establishing a reliable refill stop rather than carrying every water-related object you find.
The fan reference still mentions pouches from Scavengers. The official 1.0 notes say enemies no longer drop water pouches. This guide therefore does not recommend enemy farming as the current route.
Drinking is not every crafting requirement
A recipe or Seedbed can have a water requirement of its own. Read that station's actual input and nearby water arrangements rather than assuming a drinking consumable satisfies it. UNSURE: a complete current equivalence table between pouches, crafting water, dispensers and every farming setup.
If the query blocking you is crop production, use the farming page next. Keeping the use case clear prevents spending materials on a container that solves a different problem.
