Enshrouded what to do first: establish a base you can return to, follow the early survivor objectives, and prepare the tools needed by your next route. Hizzle recommends a useful order rather than a race to an unsupported hour-one milestone.

1. Check the opening quest and place your first Flame Altar where the placement preview permits it.
2. Set up the Workbench and shelter tasks. These teach the basic crafting and preparation loop.
3. Rescue and place the Blacksmith as directed by the opening progression. Inspect new recipes and services.
4. Prepare traversal equipment when the route asks for it. A crafted item still needs to be equipped for normal use.
5. Revisit your skills and the next upgrade before moving to a harder objective.

Pick up the eight early achievement methods alongside those tasks. The boss kill and clearing the first Elixir Well are separate catalogue requirements, so inspect the root after the fight.

For a returning character, begin by checking available skill points and the selected world/save tab. An old empty-looking allocation after the 1.0 reset is not evidence that every earned point vanished. UNSURE: a single optimal order for all imported saves and custom world rules.
