• Difficulty: 2/10, Hizzle editorial estimate. Time: UNSURE. Hidden flag: UNSURE.
• Players: Solo route described; online play is not required by this method. Online required: no for the described route; local play can be used for the two-player tasks.

What to do

1. Collect kelp and dry it in a furnace or smoker.
2. Craft nine dried kelp into one dried kelp block.
3. Put a smeltable item in a furnace and personally insert the dried kelp block into its fuel slot.

Before you repeat it

Insert the block yourself for the documented achievement trigger; do not rely on a hopper to supply it. Raw kelp and individual dried kelp are not the block fuel requested here. Store some dried kelp for Minecraft: Castaway trophy guide.

Evidence and editions

Mojang's official data or mechanic explanation and the independently maintained Minecraft Wiki agree on this method. Bedrock 26.60 patch notes were reviewed; no change invalidating the described method was identified. This is research verification, not an in-game PS5 unlock test. PS4 players should use this method only for a matching trophy in their own stack; see Minecraft PS5 vs PS4 trophy differences. Xbox points and Java advancement equivalence are not established by this PS5 record.
