Minecraft trophy builds: rails, hoppers and pistons

Build each machine on open ground where you can inspect every connection. Most early redstone troubleshooting is direction, power or a missing input, not a mysterious world bug.

Straight railway

Measure more than 500 blocks along one axis before spending iron. A small loop does not meet the displacement requirement for On A Rail. Build continuous rail, add powered sections with working power and inspect the whole route before taking the trophy ride. Keep mobs off the line.

Storage transfer

For Freight Station, put a hopper above a chest, pointing into it. Put rail on that hopper and a chest minecart on the rail. Place an item into the minecart storage and watch the hopper move it into the lower chest. Keep the hopper free of redstone power, which locks its transfer.

Automatic furnace

Use three distinct chest-and-hopper connections: input through the top, fuel through a side, and output through the bottom. Check the hopper spout for each connection before adding ingredients. Test with one item and one fuel before emptying whole storage chests into the build.

Facing pistons

Place a normal and sticky piston face-to-face with no gap. Briefly power the normal one to push the sticky one away, then let it retract. Power and release the sticky one so it reaches and pulls the normal piston. Isolate the power sources; a permanent signal to both is not the intended sequence.

Crafter project

The automatic-crafting trophy wants a crafter to craft another crafter while you are nearby. Preparing two manually is not the observed event. Use a single pulse, verify the recipe grid and keep its output face clear.
