Ride a saddled pig while it takes fall damage. Status: Verified.

PS5 trophy details

• Grade: Silver. Set: Base game. No separately purchased DLC is implied by the catalogue's expansion-pack label.

• Difficulty: 3/10, Hizzle editorial estimate. Time: UNSURE. Hidden flag: UNSURE.
• Players: Solo route described; online play is not required by this method. Online required: no for the described route; local play can be used for the two-player tasks.
• Roadmap: early phase of Minecraft PS5 Platinum trophy roadmap.

What to do

1. Craft a saddle from three leather and one iron ingot, or obtain one through normal Survival loot.
2. Craft a carrot on a stick from a fishing rod diagonally above-left of a carrot in the crafting grid.
3. Saddle an adult pig. Use the carrot on a stick to guide it onto a platform with a measured drop of more than five blocks onto ordinary solid ground.
4. While you remain mounted, guide it off far enough for the pig to suffer fall damage.

Before you repeat it

The requirement check calls for a fall distance greater than five blocks, not just any tiny ledge. Use a measured six-block drop, stay aboard and avoid water or another damage-canceling landing. Keep a rescue route for yourself.

Evidence and editions

The authored PlayStationTrophies route and Wiki agree on remaining mounted when the pig lands after a damaging fall. The Wiki specifies greater than five blocks; this route measures six. Stable recipes confirm both saddle and steering item are craftable. Old tutorial loot locations and claims that saddles cannot be crafted are excluded. Stable Bedrock 26.60 notes and indexed recent reports were checked November 3, 2026. No in-game test was performed. PS4 players must match their own stack; see Minecraft PS5 vs PS4 trophy differences. Xbox points and Java advancement equivalence are not established by this PS5 record.
