What to do

1. Craft a beacon from a Nether Star, three obsidian and five glass.
2. Build solid mineral-block layers of 9 by 9, 7 by 7, 5 by 5 and 3 by 3, largest at the bottom: 164 blocks total. Iron blocks are one valid choice.
3. Center the beacon above the top layer and give its beam a clear path upward. Stay beside it while the complete pyramid activates.
4. You can then use an accepted payment item to choose an effect. Do not confuse selecting a buff with constructing the full pyramid.

Before you repeat it

A small pyramid can activate a beacon without fully powering it. Iron is a practical material; ordinary stone and raw-iron blocks are not valid replacements.

Evidence and editions

The authored TrueAchievements procedure and the Wiki agree on the complete 164-block pyramid. Stable data confirms the beacon recipe. The Wiki's Bedrock achievement section describes being nearby when full power is recognized; it does not make paying for an effect the trigger. Stand beside the beacon rather than importing a Java-only shortcut. Stable Bedrock 26.60 notes and recent indexed reports were reviewed November 3, 2026. No in-game test was performed.
