Minecraft: The Lie trophy guide

Craft a cake with milk, sugar, an egg and wheat. Status: Verified.

PS5 trophy details

• Grade: Bronze. Set: Base game. No separately purchased DLC is implied by the catalogue's expansion-pack label.
• Missable: no story-ending lockout; the task can be repeated in an eligible Survival world. Eligibility can still be lost through settings.
• Difficulty: 2/10, Hizzle editorial estimate. Time: UNSURE. Hidden flag: UNSURE.
• Players: Solo route described; online play is not required by this method. Online required: no for the described route; local play can be used for the two-player tasks.
• Roadmap: early phase of Minecraft PS5 Platinum trophy roadmap.

What to do

1. Gather three milk buckets, two sugar, one egg and three wheat. Use empty buckets on cows for milk.
2. At a table put milk across the top, sugar/egg/sugar across the middle and wheat across the bottom.
3. Take the cake and collect your returned empty buckets.

Before you repeat it

Keep this cake for Minecraft: Birthday Song trophy guide if you plan to complete expansion trophies. Eating a cake found elsewhere is not crafting one.

Evidence and editions

Mojang's official data or mechanic explanation and the independently maintained Minecraft Wiki agree on this method. Bedrock 26.60 patch notes were reviewed; no change invalidating the described method was identified. This is research verification, not an in-game PS5 unlock test. PS4 players should use this method only for a matching trophy in their own stack; see Minecraft PS5 vs PS4 trophy differences. Xbox points and Java advancement equivalence are not established by this PS5 record.
