Minecraft: Where Have You Been? trophy guide

Receive a morning gift from your tamed cat. Status: Verified.

PS5 trophy details

• Grade: Bronze. Set: Expansion Pack 8. No separately purchased DLC is implied by the catalogue's expansion-pack label.
• Missable: no story-ending lockout; the task can be repeated in an eligible Survival world. Eligibility can still be lost through settings.
• Difficulty: 2/10, Hizzle editorial estimate. Time: UNSURE. Hidden flag: UNSURE.
• Players: Solo route described; online play is not required by this method. Online required: no for the described route; local play can be used for the two-player tasks.
• Roadmap: early phase of Minecraft PS5 Platinum trophy roadmap.

What to do

1. Tame a village cat with raw cod or salmon and bring that one cat beside a safe, accessible bed.
2. With an empty hand, command the cat to stand if it is sitting. Sleep through a night while it can approach the bed and lie beside you.
3. When you wake, look around the bed and pick up any dropped gift. Check your inventory too. If there is no gift, try another night; each morning is not guaranteed.

Before you repeat it

Daytime thunderstorm sleep and an ordered sitting cat do not produce the checked gift attempt. An older December 2018 guide warns about multiple cats; its current PS5 relevance is UNSURE. The selected route uses one cat, without claiming a guaranteed fix for every failed unlock.

Evidence and editions

Keep one owned cat standing and able to sleep beside its owner at night, then collect its morning gift. The authored guide and current Cat reference agree on this route and random gift behavior. Historical multi-cat warnings are scoped separately, not a confirmed fresh PS5 regression. Current stable Bedrock 26.60 notes were reviewed November 4, 2026. Verified means independent method research, not an in-game PS5 unlock test. PS4 players should use this route only for a matching trophy in their own stack; see Minecraft PS5 vs PS4 trophy differences. Xbox points and Java advancement equivalence are not established by this PS5 record.
