Defeat the Ender Dragon, then enter the central exit portal. Status: Verified.

• Grade: Bronze. Set: Base game. No separately purchased DLC is implied by the catalogue's expansion-pack label.
• Missable: no story-ending lockout; the task can be repeated in an eligible Survival world. Eligibility can still be lost through settings.
• Difficulty: 6/10, Hizzle editorial estimate. Time: UNSURE. Hidden flag: UNSURE.
• Players: Solo route described; online play is not required by this method. Online required: no for the described route; local play can be used for the two-player tasks.

What to do

1. Set your Overworld bed near a safe stronghold staging area. Bring armor, food, a sword, a bow, arrows, blocks, a pickaxe and water.
2. In the End, destroy the healing crystals while avoiding their blasts and the void. Handle caged crystals from secure footing rather than standing beside an explosion.
3. Use arrows while the dragon flies. When it perches above the central portal, use your sword; arrows do not damage it in that state. Step away from breath clouds and repeat.
4. After the dragon dies, wait for the central exit portal to activate, then enter it to return. The outer-island gateways are different portals.

Before you repeat it

Beds can explode in the End. This route uses ordinary combat rather than a bed-explosion speedrun. Wait for the death sequence and collect experience carefully.

Evidence and editions

Mojang's combat article and the Wiki agree on crystals, ranged attacks in flight, melee during perching and returning through the exit. Arrows do not damage the perched dragon. The Bedrock completion reference is exit entry; do not invent a personal final-hit requirement for co-op. No current PS5 unlock was tested. Stable Bedrock 26.60 notes and recent indexed reports were reviewed November 3, 2026. No in-game test was performed.
