Phantom Blade Zero Way of the Blade requires one Chain Execution, not several unrelated finishers. A launch-week Hupu guide reports a nearby-enemy QTE during an execution: use the displayed continuation prompt to finish the adjacent target. UNSURE method draft: this is a usable community description, but its provenance, exact target eligibility and current achievement unlock are not independently established.
Set up a combat execution
- Find a group with another enemy still nearby. Do not eliminate every surrounding enemy before preparing the first execution.
- Deplete the first target's Sha-Chi until its guard breaks. Sha-Chi attacks and well-timed parries help reduce that meter; keep enough of your own resource to defend.
- Watch for Execute over the target. Guard Break alone may not be sufficient: the enemy must also be within its execution threshold. Continue cautiously until the prompt appears instead of treating any stagger as an execution window.
- Use your currently displayed Execute input to begin the finisher.
- During the animation, watch for the reported follow-up/QTE prompt associated with a nearby enemy and press the input it actually shows. Look for one linked continuation rather than ending the sequence and starting a separate ordinary kill.
- Check the achievement record after the chain. If no continuation appears, the target arrangement did not reproduce the community method; do not count the first finisher alone as success.
The Hupu post separates this nearby-target execution QTE from its next tip about undetected assassinations. That distinction is why this page uses it as a native combat-method lead instead of relying on the monster-versus-monster mod described elsewhere online.
Use the prompt, not an old button diagram
All Things How documents E on keyboard and Circle/B on a controller for normal Execute. Those bindings describe the first action; they do not prove that every chain continuation uses the same input. PC 1.0302256 also changes control options and controller icons. Follow the actual prompt and your current preset.
No exact distance, QTE duration or required enemy type is established here. The sources do not show that the second enemy must also have its guard broken, nor that any boss or mounted target will work. Those are UNSURE, not extra conditions invented for the checklist.
Similar actions that do not settle this achievement
- Chain Assassination begins from an undetected stealth approach. Its nearby second kill is a separate achievement.
- Ordinary attack combos killing two enemies are not evidence of a Chain Execution.
- Sanguine arts with Execution in their names are weapon techniques; using one does not establish that you performed the linked finisher.
- A mod enabling monsters to execute each other does not prove vanilla player eligibility or a safe achievement farm.
GamerSky's continuation instruction is attributed to Lankec on Steam and marked as translated material still being checked. The translation and any copies count once; they are not independent launch testing. Solo Jugadores acknowledges linked executions but does not supply the complete QTE eligibility. No Verified label is justified by those partial agreements.
For the attempt, use Phantom Blade Zero best early build: a starter kit and Phantom Blade Zero how to get Reflex Device if you need help surviving the group. No specific accessory, weapon upgrade level, difficulty switch, New Game Plus or enemy-respawn farm is established as mandatory. If the prompt or unlock fails, record the enemy group, weapon, build and input preset; there is no confirmed reset workaround here.
Steam-only relative to the retained PS5 catalogue. Base game, single player, no online step described. First playthrough; Hizzle difficulty estimate 3/10, time, missability and cleanup availability UNSURE. No Hizzle in-game testing.
