Phantom Blade Zero The Blade's Thirst requires unleashing Bloodthirst Frenzy with Outlaw Warblade. Ordinary life-draining hits are a different action. Get Outlaw Warblade from Jing Ye

In Crimson Forest, continue from Hua Qianxiao through Trail of Cages toward Outlaw Trap. The published route uses the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank to reach the underground passage and Jing Ye. Defeat Jing Ye, the Outlaw for his weapon. Protect Apprentice Healer before this kill; obtaining a weapon does not repair that separate deadline.

Hizzle's checklist is to confirm the weapon in your equipment before spending more resources on a different sword. There is no need to buy a look-alike, complete a later Banyan rematch or Soul Temper the weapon just to follow this stated requirement.

Use the named Power Surge

1. Make Outlaw Warblade your active main weapon.
2. Prepare one Sha-Chi Essence, the cost shown for Bloodthirst Frenzy. Do not confuse it with the defensive Sha-Chi bar.
3. Find an opening, face the intended target and use the current Power Surge binding. Check the weapon's move list if a different action appears.
4. Check Steam after the technique activates. For a conservative attempt, land it on an ordinary living enemy rather than assuming an empty swing or an immune body proves success.

The move data describes a pinning attack that drains HP when it connects. Its drain does not apply to Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies. That limitation concerns healing; the official achievement text does not separately require a particular amount of HP restored. Exact hit-versus-activation unlock behavior remains UNSURE, so this page does not promise a whiff will count.

Do not confuse the weapon's three actions

Basic attacks provide its ordinary life drain. Heavy attacks can put HP into a recoverable state. Bloodthirst Frenzy is the separate Essence-spending Power Surge.
