Phantom Blade Zero Fists of Fury requires Masterstroke Fist with Iron Gauntlets. Upgrade the Edge to level 5, hold its attack input and release at the charge flash for a Perfect Charge. Single source complete method: skill cards corroborate the named action, but independent complete unlock evidence remains missing.
Get the Iron Gauntlets
From Mirrorwood Entrance in Crimson Forest, descend the two nearby ladders and follow the path into Stone Hand Iron Fever's clearing. Defeat him for the Iron Gauntlets. Equip them in a Phantom Edge slot, rather than looking for a main sword named after the achievement.
Phantom Blade Zero how to upgrade weapons explains the forge. At level 5, confirm Masterstroke Fist appears in the Edge's traits before practicing the release. The later Worldbreaker Fist tempering material is a separate improvement; this method does not require completing that quest first.
Release on the flash
- Select Iron Gauntlets as the active Phantom Edge and restore Remnant Spark at a Bell if needed.
- Hold the Phantom Edge attack input to charge a punch.
- Watch the gauntlets' flash, then release with the Perfect Charge timing described by the move card.
- For a conservative attempt, connect the empowered punch with an enemy and check Steam. Ordinary uncharged punches or Fist Focus buildup alone are not proof that Masterstroke Fist occurred.
Hizzle's practice suggestion is to learn the visible cue before attempting it amid several enemies. This is not a measured release window or a tested training location. A longer hold is not automatically a better charge.
Keep the upgrades separate
Fist Guard is a later defensive trait; Fist Wave is a tempering effect. Neither replaces the named level-5 technique. Published Fist Focus durations and resource wording differ between references, so we do not use those numbers as achievement conditions.
Exact release frames, hit-versus-activation qualification and unlock timing remain UNSURE. No guaranteed recovery workaround or particular boss target is established here.
Missability and later recovery remain UNSURE; this is a first-run acquisition route, not a guarantee of unrestricted cleanup.
Steam achievement, absent from the retained PS5 trophy list. Base-game weapon, one player, no online step described. First available after the Crimson Forest drop and level-5 upgrade; Hizzle difficulty estimate 3/10, time UNSURE. PC 1.0302256 reviewed; no Hizzle in-game testing.
