Rust Dude, where's my boat? achievement

Rust Dude, where's my boat? achievement: swim 200 metres in the Deep Sea. Single source: the checked author uses ordinary swimming after entering the Deep Sea. Travel in a boat is a different action from the named swim.

Separate swimming distance from boat travel

Reach an open Deep Sea event with a plan for getting back aboard a vessel. Enter the water and swim toward the 200 m requirement, checking progress where the interface exposes it. Hizzle recommends a short controlled route near an accessible return point rather than counting an unknown current or map-grid width.

The method author reports success with this action, but one account is not a tested current distance formula. Surface-versus-underwater distance, drifting, repeated segments and counter resets remain UNSURE. No fixed swimming speed or completion time is asserted.

You do not need to add the cuffs/hood/plank setup from the separate Swim with the fishes task merely because both involve water. Follow that method only when attempting its different requirement.

Planning and evidence

Other players: No additional player is stated by the requirement.

Hizzle's 3/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, resets, shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless resolved above. No paid pack is established by this published route; item access and blueprint availability must still be checked. Console Edition has a different catalogue. Hizzle has not tested the method in-game.
