Rust Lock the Lock achievement: Set an attached lock to its locked state using the current interaction menu. Crafting a lock and attaching it are separate goals; inspect the actual lock state after you choose the action.
The checked published route describes opening the lock's menu and choosing its locking option. Its old button instruction is not treated as universal. Use the control shown in your settings or the on-screen prompt.
Hizzle recommends checking this on a lock you own while the surrounding entrance remains accessible. Exact credit from shared ownership, code locks or someone else's action remains UNSURE; no repeated unlocking/locking fix is guaranteed.
Evidence and planning limits
Hizzle's provisional difficulty is 2/10, an editorial estimate from the setup. Exact completion time, server eligibility, counter resets, guest credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE. This basic route has no established paid-DLC requirement. Console Edition has a different catalogue; UNSURE: console trigger parity. Current patch review does not prove an unlock works on every server. Hizzle has not tested this in-game.
