Rust Pen Pal achievement

Rust Pen Pal achievement: put a Note in another player's mailbox. UNSURE: the published guide and comments offer different mailbox/authorization setups. Current ownership-credit rules and the suggested apartment workaround are not independently settled.

Use a real other-player mailbox

Arrange access to another player's Mail Box, make a Note and use the mailbox's normal note-deposit interaction. The current Note recipe is ten Wood, no workbench requirement. A Mail Box costs 100 Wood and25 Metal Fragments, also with no workbench listed.

The primary mailbox description identifies a one-way note slit. Use the intended submission interface and check the result; opening your own storage container and moving paper into it is not the named other-player action.

Hizzle recommends starting with a mailbox clearly owned by a cooperating other player. It does not present deauthorizing your own cupboard, submitting to every apartment mailbox or changing clan membership as a proven shortcut. Exact ownership, authorization, empty-versus-written note and shared-credit conditions remain UNSURE.

Planning and evidence

Other players: The requirement names another player’s mailbox.

Hizzle's 2/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, resets, shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless resolved above. No paid pack is established by this published route; item access and blueprint availability must still be checked. Console Edition has a different catalogue. Hizzle has not tested the method in-game.
