Rust Bite back achievement: kill a snake. Single source: the published route searches the jungle's vegetation for a snake and kills that creature. It does not establish a guaranteed spawn or damage budget.

Identify the target before counting credit

Prepare for the jungle environment, locate a snake and defeat it through normal combat, then inspect the achievement result. Hizzle recommends checking the actual creature rather than treating any small decorative critter as the named target.

The older guide mentions blue snakes in ferns and bushes and gives an approximate health value. Those are search leads, not a current universal colour, spawn or hit-count guarantee. This draft does not publish a fixed50HP claim without independently checked current creature data.

Personal versus teammate kills, damage-over-time finishing blows, special variants and server counter behavior remain UNSURE. A snake costume, item or environmental death near vegetation is not established as a substitute for the named kill action.
