Rust Barrels O' Fun trophy: use ordinary loot runs to find and destroy 100 barrels. UNSURE: the authored achievement method is historical console guidance; present native PS5 counter behavior is unresolved.

Make the run useful

The PS4-derived guide looks for barrels around the map. A separate console player's routine follows a road and breaks roadside barrels with a rock while collecting scrap. Hizzle suggests a short outward-and-return route so the search also teaches you a route back to your shelter.

Finish destroying each barrel before counting it in your own checklist. Picking up another player's dropped loot does not demonstrate that you performed the destruction action. Make room for useful contents, inspect tool condition and return with supplies rather than extending an unfamiliar trip only to reach a round number.

What the counter does not establish

Exact qualifying barrel variants, shared damage, death, server transfers, wipe resets and cumulative versus single-session credit remain UNSURE. No100-barrel-per-hour promise follows from this route. Difficulty2/10 is editorial; full missable/time/DLC scope and current server eligibility remain unverified. The published route needs no arranged partner. Steam's ten-barrel goal is a different requirement. No in-game testing.
