Rust Incoming trophy: empty an airdrop crate

Rust Incoming trophy: the historical route empties a parachuted supply crate dropped by a cargo plane. Reported bugged: a February 2022 Xbox comment reports no unlock after looting a called-in drop that a friend also opened. The cause and current native PS5 status remain UNSURE.

Identify the right crate

Watch the aircraft and falling parachute, prepare inventory space and inspect the landing area before approaching. The authored Xbox route distinguishes this supply drop from a locked crate marked on the map. When safe to do so, transfer every item and inspect the crate again for anything left behind.

The author also reports success with a Supply Signal drop; the later failure report prevents treating that as a guaranteed workaround. Use the current displayed loot controls rather than copying an old Xbox button instruction onto PS5.

Plan for contested access

Hizzle recommends preparing the return route and inventory before an attempt. A low-population success report does not guarantee safety or eligibility. Whether another player opening or looting the crate changes credit remains unresolved.

Difficulty4/10 is editorial. Exact event timing, completion hours, server restrictions, imported progress, missable status and DLC exceptions remain UNSURE. The route does not require a partner. Do not assume PC event visuals or November PC changes apply to Console Edition. No in-game testing.
