A useful route to level 5

Use the opening survivor and shelter quests as your route. The compiled guide groups the early Springlands tasks with this milestone; it does not establish an exact number of minutes for every world.

Hizzle suggests combining a useful material trip with an unfinished nearby objective, then returning to repair. A detour that expands your base is more useful than repeatedly fighting something your equipment cannot handle.

If the number barely moves

Check that the activity awards character XP and inspect the current world's XP settings. The game-file reference lists multiple XP categories; a root's direct skill-point reward should not be confused with a whole character level. Hizzle does not promise a fixed number of kills, a ten-minute farm or a deposit-reset timer.

UNSURE: the exact XP bill for every save/settings combination, every imported-character unlock case and blanket console/world-setting eligibility. This is a researched route, not a Hizzle playthrough or guaranteed completion time.
