Enshrouded Thus it begins

Enshrouded Thus it begins requires this early milestone: Craft a simple item. Single source: the route below has a checked published explanation, but not two independent current method confirmations.

The researched approach

Open Manual Crafting, select an available simple recipe, gather the currently displayed ingredients and complete the craft. Hizzle suggests doing this as part of the opening shelter/tool tasks, then checking the award rather than crafting an expensive item just for a notification.

Check the result

Inspect the platform award after the action. If it does not register, note the platform, build and exact item or objective state. Hizzle recommends checking the stated requirement before repeating a costly setup or resetting a character.

UNSURE: every current shared-credit, imported-save and console-trigger exception. No DLC condition appears in the cited Steam requirement; complete missable reconciliation, a numerical difficulty and completion-time estimate remain open. These notes come from published sources, not a Hizzle playthrough.
