Phantom Blade Zero Turning the Tide requires defeating You Loong twice: the Pangzhen encounter and the Frenzied Blackwater Crew Leader at Meigu Lake. These are two different fights, not two attempts at one arena. Single source complete unlock draft: regional routes corroborate locations, while independent full combat and recovery evidence remain incomplete.

First fight: below Pangzhen

From Green Serpent House Bell, enter the building on the left, climb its stairs and follow the balcony. Exit through its side door, then descend the stairs to the watery arena. Defeating You Loong, Leader of the Blackwater Crew gives You Loong's Deluge.

Second fight: Blackwater Crew Dock

At Meigu Village East Dock, sail north to the next island and activate Blackwater Crew Dock Bell. Continue into the encounter with You Loong, the Frenzied Blackwater Crew Leader. PowerPyx lists Loong Trident and High-Power Pump as his rewards.

The lake fight also belongs to Phantom Blade Zero Master of the Misty Waters, alongside Yan Qiansui and the One-Eyed Archer. That grouped objective is different from this Steam two-defeat requirement. Finishing one checklist does not prove every entry on the other is complete.

Combat cues to learn

Sportskeeda describes the first fight's bubbles tracking his underwater position, a red-glint forward stab that leaves an opening after a sideways dodge, and a thrown-spear sequence with a later sweeping strike. Its descriptions are useful cues, not Hizzle-tested release windows.

Hizzle suggests watching an entire attack sequence before committing to a long counter. These are learning suggestions, not a measured fastest strategy or a promise that the later Frenzied fight has identical timing.

Do not make the rematch's Loong Trident reward a mandatory first-fight loadout. Nor does tempering Deluge establish a second boss defeat. The achievement names defeated encounters, not weapon ownership or upgrades.

Exact rematch move timings, earlier-fight availability after later story events and missed-unlock recovery remain UNSURE. A general free-roam statement is not proof that this particular skipped encounter always remains recoverable.
